WHATEVER! In this day and age God is literally being taken out of our society. We can’t say the word “Christmas”, there can’t be any prayer in school, and if you talk about Jesus you are a religious freak. How about taking “Under God” out of the pledge or taking Christian symbols out of public places? I know you can come up with even more examples, it is not that hard. I know people who proclaim to be atheists. I am even related to some. I just don’t understand that kind of thinking. To those people I say “Whatever!”
…Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Phillipians 4:8
Thinking about such things is thinking about God! But this verse isn’t just about positive thinking. I mean aren’t those qualities what our Lord stands for? Isn’t that who God is? God is everything that is good. I think if you would ask, most people would agree that they would want “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, excellent or praiseworthy.” Yet there are hundreds of thousands who claim they don’t know God. We come across non-believers daily.
The Bible instructs us to share the Good News of Christ. That is often easier said than done. It is difficult to step out of the box and even if we do we are not sure what to say. How about telling them “Whatever!” Tell them what Christ stands for and who he is because they truly do not know. So many people are struggling to find these good things in their life but do not know where to look. Christ is the answer.

What then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Share the Good News that God is on our side fighting for us! He wants only good things for us, pure and true. Isn’t that what we all want and need in our lives? Let’s put God back into our society. Now it is your turn to share the GOOD NEWS!
