The Bad NEWS is: I need to go back to work today….My mom has cancer and so do some of my friends…My husband had a bad week at work- again…My daughter is having friend trouble… My house is a mess…My dad is in a nursing home…I worry-a lot… Friends have lost jobs and need new ones... We have very expensive health insurance that we can’t afford… I am tired… The list goes on.
The AWESOME NEWS is: Christ loves us! No matter what the world may bring us. No matter what we think the day may bring! He is greater!!!! His Love is GREATER than all of these things! I want you to know that you are loved by God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s a promise!
Romans 8:35-40
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
