Let’s face it ladies, we have all experienced it... Anxiety. I have had my share of it and it’s awful. We all know it’s not God’s will for our lives. There are so many scriptures in the Bible telling us to have no fear, worry, or anxiety. In the NIV Bible there are more than 300 scriptures on fear alone! Wow! God gave us that many scriptures to combat it! I have included some of the scriptures below and I wanted to add so many more. I implore you to search the scriptures on this topic. You will be amazed by how many scriptures you will find to encourage, comfort, and teach you.
Philippians 4:6-6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Eph 6:10-17 Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes
Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
There may have been situations in our lives that were out of our control that have caused fears and anxiety. In fact, I have heard Doctors diagnose people with anxiety with no hope of recovery from it. This directly contradicts scripture. We must NOT give up conquering anxiety because you and I both know it is not of God. God loves us so much, wants only the very best for us, and He is always faithful! God wants to deliver and heal us from all emotional scars we may be carrying. He knows us more intimately than anyone and what we have experienced in our lives. He wants comfort, deliver and heal us.
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
