GOD’S LOVE FOR US = JESUS:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) Just as Jesus was obedient and was completely and totally successful in His purpose; which was the plan of salvation the Father gave to Him for us; so our obedience to God is the key to a successful Christian life. Who is Jesus Christ? Our perception of Him is the basis for our relationship with Him. May we all perceive Him as He really is! Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11: 25-26). Friends, let’s be doer’s of the Word of God! Let’s have that FIERCE DETERMINATION of obedience and dedication like Jesus did. To learn more about the example of Jesus I strongly encourage you to start with the New Testament although Jesus is all over the Bible--including the Old Testament. Need prayer? Need a friend to talk to? Do you want to know how YOU can have a personal relationship with Jesus? We would love to hear from you! Contact us today. Dictionary Definition: Savior sav·ior noun /ˈsāvyər/ saviors, plural; saviours, plural A person who saves someone or something (esp. a country or cause) from danger, and who is regarded with the veneration of a religious figure (in Christianity) God or Jesus Christ as the redeemer of sin and saver of souls

‘Come to Me all who are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light’ (Matthew 11:28 to 30). Those are wonderful words of Jesus. The idea of the ‘yoke’ is like a farmer or our ‘Master’. A yoke makes oxen go where the Master wants them to go, and do what the Master wants them to do. The whole message of the Bible is ‘God wants to give us salvation’. He loves us so. He wants to transform us, prepare us for heaven and finally, introduce us to a whole new existence. We need to concentrate on being transformed into the likeness of Jesus and that includes being totally obedient like He was. We need to learn from Jesus and apply the knowledge to our lives. Just reading the Bible is not enough to change us. ‘Be doers of the Word of God, and not merely listeners to it’ (James 1:22). We need to form a one on one, close relationship with Jesus in order to learn from Him. We need to spend time in His company and get to know Him intimately; just as Jesus knows the Father intimately. ‘I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you’ (John 13:15). We need to make Jesus our Lord and our Master and follow His example. If we follow the Lord, we are not pushing against His will, and that makes our lives flow easier and we will find peace. His will is ALWAYS best. He is ALWAYS faithful and He ALWAYS good. We all need to face life by living to please the Father and to honor and glorify Him. We need to follow His example and allow that to bring us the greatest delight. We need to learn from the Lord Jesus daily. In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus suffered anguish but He prayed, “Not My will but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42) We also read that although Jesus is God’s Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered (Hebrews 5:8 & 9). Moreover, Jesus became the Source of salvation to all those who in turn, obey Him. Jesus lived in total submission to the Father, His plans and His purposes. Jesus is the most influential Person in all of earth’s history. The Apostle Paul had the same determination to follow the Father. He faced beatings and death but did not waver from ‘fighting the good fight’. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). It is imperative that we have fierce determination to follow Jesus’ example of obedience and dedication to God. With God’s help, we will succeed. We can not do this on our own. We must be submitted to God, humble ourselves and ask His help, and by the grace of God we will achieve obedience to His will. If we fail, we need to go to God, repent, confess our sins, and get right up and press on to the goal. Jesus IS our all in all! Sing it with me today and as always lots of love and encouragement to you!

Hi friends! What a gorgeous day the Lord has made! I love days like these where there is just such an abundance of sunshine. Today I would like to post one of my favorite old time hymns I remember singing as a girl in church.
As I was grocery shopping yesterday, I heard the cutest little girl singing Jesus Loves Me. She sounded so angelic. After singing that song she went on to sing another precious child’s praise song. Though unaware of it, that little girl was touching so many people in that store .While passing the little girl (with tears in my eyes) I told her to never stop singing! If you know Jeaunetta, (founder of Girls Just Want to Love God Ministries) you know that she always has a song on her heart. She reminds me of David, always singing and praising God. Singing is so powerful; it not only uplifts us but it also honors and glorifies God. The Bible says that God inhabits in the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). In other words, God “dwells” in the atmosphere of His praise. Praise means, “to commend, to applaud or magnify.” For the Christian, praise to God is an expression of worship, lifting-up and glorifying the Lord. “Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance” (Psalms 89:15). At home, in the car, or anywhere; praise to the Lord brings the refreshing of the Lord’s presence, along with His power and anointing. “I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1). Praise is an expression of faith, and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of all our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Since praise manifests God’s presence, we also realize that praise repels the presence of the enemy, Satan. What did the children of Judah do when they found themselves outnumbered by the hostile armies? On they went, ahead of the army declaring, “Praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever!” And the scripture says, “...when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten” (2 Chronicles 20:22). Being the people of “praise” (Judah actually means Praise), and knowing that God manifests His power through praise, they sent their army against their enemies, led by the praisers! When God’s people begin to praise His name, it sends the enemy running! We would love to hear from you! What is your favorite Praise / Worship song? Victory In Jesus I heard an old, old story, how a Savior came from glory (how He gave His life) How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me I heard about His groaning, (of His blood's atoning) of His precious blood's atoning Then I repented (repented) of my sins (repented of my sins) and won the victory Chorus: Oh victory in Jesus (victory in Jesus), my Savior (my Savior) forever (forever) He sought me and He bought me with His redeeming blood (bought me with His blood) He loved me 'ere I knew Him and all my love is due Him He plunged me to victory beneath the cleansing flood I heard about His healing, of His cleansing power revealing How He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit" I then obeyed His blest command and gained the victory * Repeat Chorus * With owning a staffing company in this economy my husband and I sure have had our share of continuous ups and downs. Just recently I have been told that we are in a very serious financial sensitive time of the business. Immediately worries and doubts came flooding my mind. I saw myself slumping into a depression and I was full of worry and anxiety. Yuck. I find it interesting now after reviewing my reaction how I found it so difficult to pray, sing, contact others to pray, and to simply walk in victory. But these are the things we NEED to do! These are our weapons! I finally contacted my friends and I immediately received a response. The email was packed full of God’s truth, encouragement, and love. I IMMEDIATELY felt such a difference. I thank God for the friends he has given me. They are precious treasures.
Proverbs 12:25 "An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up." 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. I learned that when it’s most difficult to pray that it is exactly at that time that I need to be praying. When it’s hard to sing; I need to listen to some praise and worship, when it’s hard to call my friends; I really need to have them beside me, and when it seems like it’s hard to walk in victory; I need to read God’s word because it holds the TRUTH and is such a mighty and powerful weapon. Now, I don’t know what is going to happen with our business but I do know that God is in control. When we are going through times of struggles and trials—what do we need to do? Go to God. Pray, take every thought captive, and believe in God’s power, promises, and victory! Call up your friends, there is power in prayer, and ask them to help you do battle. We belong to God so we must be willing to surrender our fears, anxieties, and worries. This is unconditional surrender and obedience to what God commands us to do. Sometimes we get so caught up in the situation and drama that we may be holding on to things that are really harming us. Hebrew’s 4:12 (Word of God) For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword; it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Psalm 55:16-18 (Prayer) But I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice. He ransoms me unharmed from the battle waged against me, even though many oppose me. Let’s make it a habit to take every thought captive! Instead of that *sigh* let’s replace it with “Hallelujah!” Do you experience anxiety? Do you need a friend to talk to? Would you like prayer? Let’s fight this battle together my friend! Contact us today! Psalm 121:1-2" I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth." People may experience all sorts of different anxieties and fears. Some of us may experience anxiety meeting new people or simply being in a group. This can be very scary for some people. We just need to remember that with any fear, worry or anxiety that we are not alone and that Jesus holds the VICTORY! We can OVERCOME and we have to BELIEVE it! We need to conquer the lies that flood our minds when we experience anxiety with amazing and powerful weapons God gave us.
Psalms 55:12 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Did you know there is VICTORY in taking baby steps to overcome fears, worry, and anxiety? For example, if you have anxiety being in a group, start by just being in a group for 5 minutes. If you need to leave than allow yourself permission to do so and congratulations! You are OVERCOMING! Next time try 10 minutes. Maybe have someone you can trust go with you for prayer, support and encouragement. While you are doing this stand on God’s word and continually remind yourself He will NEVER leave you…no matter what because He is faithful! Take every thought captive! I love the song; “There’s Victory in Jesus” because it’s an awesome and powerful song to focus on when we go through tough times. Believe that through God’s promises YOU WILL OVERCOME and ALWAYS remember that God holds the VICTORY. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Dictionary Definition:
anx·i·e·ty noun /aNGˈzī-itē/ anxieties, plural -A feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome - He felt a surge of anxiety -Anxieties about the moral decline of today's youth -A desire to do something, typically accompanied by unease - The housekeeper's eager anxiety to please - A nervous disorder characterized by a state of excessive uneasiness and apprehension, typically with compulsive behavior or panic attacks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let’s face it ladies, we have all experienced it... Anxiety. I have had my share of it and it’s awful. We all know it’s not God’s will for our lives. There are so many scriptures in the Bible telling us to have no fear, worry, or anxiety. In the NIV Bible there are more than 300 scriptures on fear alone! Wow! God gave us that many scriptures to combat it! I have included some of the scriptures below and I wanted to add so many more. I implore you to search the scriptures on this topic. You will be amazed by how many scriptures you will find to encourage, comfort, and teach you. Philippians 4:6-6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Eph 6:10-17 Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. There may have been situations in our lives that were out of our control that have caused fears and anxiety. In fact, I have heard Doctors diagnose people with anxiety with no hope of recovery from it. This directly contradicts scripture. We must NOT give up conquering anxiety because you and I both know it is not of God. God loves us so much, wants only the very best for us, and He is always faithful! God wants to deliver and heal us from all emotional scars we may be carrying. He knows us more intimately than anyone and what we have experienced in our lives. He wants comfort, deliver and heal us. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. Come back to the blog tomorrow to check out part 2: Baby Steps to OVERCOMING Anxiety! But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.2 Corinthians 4:7-9, NIV
