For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Just as Jesus was obedient and was completely and totally successful in His purpose; which was the plan of salvation the Father gave to Him for us; so our obedience to God is the key to a successful Christian life.
Who is Jesus Christ? Our perception of Him is the basis for our relationship with Him. May we all perceive Him as He really is! Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11: 25-26).
Friends, let’s be doer’s of the Word of God! Let’s have that FIERCE DETERMINATION of obedience and dedication like Jesus did.
To learn more about the example of Jesus I strongly encourage you to start with the New Testament although Jesus is all over the Bible--including the Old Testament.
